• Tier 1 & Tier 2 Shows - Global Collaboration & Regional Leadership:
  • Partner with the global trade shows team to execute and lead Tier 1 and Tier 2 industry shows within the North America region.
  • Ensure proper execution of booth design, logistics, staffing, and materials aligned with global brand standards and campaign themes.
  • Provide regional leadership and oversight to ensure shows reflect QIAGEN’s market positioning and strategic priorities.
• Tier 3 Shows - Direct Management & ROI Accountability:
  • Directly manage and execute all Tier 3 trade shows and regional events within North America.
  • Own end-to-end event planning and execution, including venue coordination, vendor management, budget oversight, logistics, and on-site presence.
  • Establish clear ROI metrics for each show and track performance against targets; conduct post-event analysis to measure lead generation, customer engagement, and brand impact.
  • Maintain detailed visibility into performance data and reporting to inform strategic decisions for future events.
• Continuous Improvement & Impact Optimization:
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve event execution, increase audience impact, and enhance customer and prospect engagement.
  • Drive strategies to maximize ROI and operational efficiency; seek ways to do more with less while increasing show impact and presence.
  • Consolidate show calendars where appropriate to strengthen QIAGEN’s focus and impact at key events.
  • Analyze competitive presence at shows and recommend strategies to differentiate QIAGEN and strengthen market positioning.
• Event Resources & “Event in a Box” Development:
  • Work with marketing interns and team members to develop and maintain a library of reusable event resources, tactics, and collateral.
  • Create “Event in a Box” packages that enable Tier 3 shows to be executed efficiently and with consistency across the region.
  • Ensure all materials and resources are aligned with global brand guidelines, regional campaigns, and QIAGEN’s messaging standards.
  • Update and optimize these resources annually based on performance data and market feedback.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
  • Partner closely with regional and global marketing teams, product marketing, and segment teams to align show strategy with broader marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the North America sales organization to understand customer and prospect needs, ensure proper sales support at events, and capture quality leads.
  • Manage vendor relationships including booth builders, freight companies, AV providers, and event logistics partners.
