Use of components like resistors, capacitors, ICs, transistors)\n\nPCB Design (Layout design, routing, and manufacturing files using Altium Designer)\n\nPower Electronics (Power supplies and converters, Inverters, rectifiers, regulators, battery management systems)\n\nEmbedded Systems (Microcontrollers such as STM32)\n\nTesting & Debugging (Using oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers\n\nFault diagnosis and troubleshooting Hardware validation)\n\nAdditional Assets Skills:\nSignal Processing (Analog and digital signal processing (DSP))\n\nOperating Systems administration (LINUX and bash scripting)\n\nControl Systems (PID controllers, Stability analysis)\n\nCommunication Systems (RF fundamentals and Modulation Techniques)\n\nWhat You Bring\nEducation & Professional Membership:\nBachelor of Engineering or Equivalent\n\nRegistered as an EIT with APEGA\n\nWork Experience:\n3-5 years in the Design and Development of Embedded Electronic Products\n\nExperience in avionics, marine, vehicular military systems, and/or communication equipment.\n\nSecurity\nApplicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada and meet the eligibility requirements to obtain and maintain the Government of Canada security clearance required for the position\nMust be eligible for and maintain a clear background check, including criminal record screening, as required for security clearance\nWhy QinetiQ?\nWe offer a high-performing, inclusive work environment where you can thrive, contribute meaningfully, and be your authentic self.
