the overall team for the design, development, production, and operation of Uncrewed Vehicle Systems with respect to the overall systems developed and maintained for Aerial, Surface, Control Stations, Test Equipment, and Payloads as part of the QTSC product families.\nWhat You’ll Do\nAdvanced technical expertise within the 3d modeling & drafting discipline area with the primary focus on mechanical design, mechatronics and electronics interfaces and assembly design activities\n\nScope of work involves 3-D modelling and creation of 2D drawings for parts and assemblies of products and subsystems\n\nDevelops their work plans for agreement their work tasks\n\nCreating engineering technical publications including drawings, schematics,\n\nRecommendations for Mechanical Engineering process improvements\n\nMostly critical deadlines for subsystems & systems drawings\n\nSupervision\nReceives semi-weekly direct line management oversight\n\nReceives detailed work plans\n\nMultiple assigned tasks at once within with required by dates with the employee managing their daily duties to achieve the requirements with support management as needed\n\nSkill Requirements:\nEssential Skills:\nDesign for integration of multiple engineering disciplines\n\nBasic mechanical system and harsh environment design\n\nAdvanced Parametric Modelling including 2D& 3D Drafting\n\nEngineering analysis (stress, thermal, vibration, fatigue)\n\nFEA modeling, interpretation, and validation,\n\nTechnical documentation and drawing quality control\n\nAdditional Assets Skills:\nGD&T application (ASME Y14) and functional dimensioning\n\nAutodesk Inventor & PDM software (Autodesk Vault)\n\nBasic Electronic knowledge\n\nMetal fabrication knowledge\n\nBasic Electronic Circuit Design & Analysis\n\nWhat You Bring\nEducation & Professional Membership:\nPost-Secondary Engineering/Technical Program\n\nWork Experience:\n3-7 years in the Design and Development of products with 3D modelling systems\n\nExperience in avionics, marine, vehicular military systems, and/or communication equipment.\n\nTravel Requirements:\nThis role may require infrequent travel for internal, customer, supplier, and/or end-user locations for technical development, technical assistance, and/or technical training.\nThis role may require local, domestic, and/or international travel depending on business needs.\n\nTravel includes day trips, overnight stays, or extended assignments.\n\nTravel may be planned in advance or occur on short notice, depending on operational requirements.\n\nWhile travelling, employees may be required to work flexible or extended hours, including adapting to different time zones.\n\nTravel may involve working in customer sites, industrial environments, field locations, or other non-office settings.\n\nEmployees are required to maintain a valid passport and any necessary visas, security clearances, or other travel documentation relevant to assigned
