Join us as an Infrastructure Test Engineerat our Corshamcustomer location, where you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in partnership with some of the most brilliant minds.\nThe Role\n As a Infrastructure Test Engineer, you will play a key role in assuring the performance, reliability and readiness of critical Defence IT infrastructure. Working within a highly technical test team, you'll develop automated testing capabilities that ensure complex systems are deployed and integrated correctly before entering operational service.\nDay-to-day, you'll design and develop Python-based automated test frameworks, execute system and integration testing activities, work closely with engineering teams to create new automated test solutions, and provide evidence-based assurance to the customer.\nYour responsibilities will include:\nDeveloping and maintaining automated test frameworks using Python\nConverting manual test activities into efficient automated test scripts\nSupporting system integration, functional and regression testing activities\nProducing test plans, test reports, defect documentation and evidence packs\nWorking closely with engineering teams to validate infrastructure deployments\nPresenting test results, findings and recommendations to project stakeholders\nEssential experience of the Infrastructure Test Engineer:\nSignificant experience developing automated testing solutions using Python\nExperience building and maintaining automated test frameworks\nExperience with BDD methodologies and Gherkin-based test development\nKnowledge of scripting technologies including PowerShell and Bash\nExperience using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins\nExperience working within secure, regulated or mission-critical environments\nEssential qualifications for the Infrastructure Test Engineer :\nDemonstrable professional experience in Automation Testing, Integration Testing or Systems Testing\nEligibility to obtain and maintain UK Security Clearance (SC)\nRelevant technical qualifications or equivalent industry experience\nWe value difference and we don’t have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education, provided you can show the required level of experience and willingness to learn then we would like to hear from you.\nThis role is 37 hours per week based at ourCorshamsite with a minimum average site attendance of three days per week.
