This is a unique opportunity to become a key technical leader within an established capability, with the opportunity to influence future growth and direction.\nYour responsibilities will include:\nLeading multidisciplinary engineering teams delivering secure customer capabilities\nProviding technical leadership across multiple projects and workstreams\nDefining technical approaches, requirements and engineering solutions\nManaging stakeholders across customer, partner and internal communities\nSupporting technical governance, risk management and programme delivery\nDriving systems engineering best practice throughout the engineering lifecycle\nEssential experience of the Principal Systems Engineer:\nExperience applying Systems Engineering principles throughout the engineering lifecycle\nExperience delivering or supporting secure IT, communications or networked systems\nTechnical leadership experience within complex engineering or technology programmes\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills\nExperience working within highly regulated or secure environments\nUnderstanding of Secure by Design principles and systems assurance activities\nEssential qualifications for the Principal Systems Engineer :\nDegree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or a related STEM discipline, or equivalent relevant experience\nDemonstrable experience leading complex technical work within secure environments\nAbility to obtain and maintain UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearance\nWe value difference and we don’t have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education, provided you can show the required level of experience and willingness to learn then we would like to hear from you.\nThis role is 37 hours per week based at ourMalvernsite on a full-time basis. The Malvern facility is noted for its work in electronic warfare, surveillance and complex system integration, contributing significantly to the UK’s defence capabilities.
