Join us as a Programme Manager at either our Farnborough or Fort Halstead facilities, where you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in partnership with some of the most brilliant minds.\nThe Role\n The primary focus will be to lead the successful delivery of the DGM, Bofors and Combat Vehicles 1 (CV1) portfolio, ensuring programme outcomes are achieved against agreed cost, schedule, quality, safety, cash and customer satisfaction targets.\nThe Programme Manager will be the primary customer-facing delivery lead, building strong and trusted relationships across DGM, Bofors, CV1 and wider MoD stakeholders whilst developing a deep understanding of the customer landscape, priorities and future capability requirements to identify opportunities for growth, follow-on work and long-term strategic partnerships.\nYour responsibilities will include:\nMaximise the value of the DGM Framework by proactively identifying, shaping and converting new tasking opportunities, contract extensions and additional service offerings\nWork closely with Business Development and Account Management teams to support pipeline development, customer engagement activities, bid campaigns and business growth objectives\nLead the development and implementation of a segmented sourcing strategy with DGM, aligning QinetiQ capabilities to customer requirements and future demand signals\nProvide strategic oversight of the Arrow and CR3 programmes, driving delivery excellence, identifying efficiencies and leveraging programme success to secure follow-on sales and upsell opportunities\nMaintain accurate financial, sales and resource forecasts, ensuring robust planning, effective resource utilisation and delivery of revenue, margin and cash commitments\nEnsure all programmes operate in accordance with the QinetiQ Operating Framework, governance requirements, lifecycle controls and safe and secure working practices\nEssential experience of the Programme Manager:\nDemonstrable capability to International Project Management Association Level A\nExperience gained between 4-6 years of leading a business, projects, programmes, portfolios or P3 function; successful delivery of programmes or complex projects\nExperience leading programmes or complex projects to 3 different customers\nDesirable qualifications for the Programme Manager:\nMSP Practitioner qualification\nWe value difference and we don’t have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education, provided you can show the required level of experience and willingness to learn then we would like to hear from you.\nThis role is 37 hours per week and is based out of our Farnborough or Fort Halstead facilitIes on a hybrid working pattern of 3 days per week on average, onsite.\nFarnborough\nAt our Farnborough site exciting work takes place at our state-of-the-art facility, with high-energy laser technologies, our 5m pressurised wind tunnel which has a simulation capability that is unique in the UK and our large research and development projects is a real hub of creativity, research and innovation.
