Join us as a Programme Manager at our Bristol facility, where you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in partnership with some of the most brilliant minds.\nThe Role\n To lead the delivery of one or more standard or complex Programme(s) within the UK Defence arm of QinetiQ, on the Land & Weapons Programme.\nAs the Programme Manager, you are responsible for the successful delivery of complex, high-value defence programmes, ensuring that cost, schedule, performance, quality, and regulatory requirements are achieved while meeting customer and national security objectives.\nYou will act as the primary interface between customers, internal stakeholders, suppliers, engineering teams, and senior leadership throughout the programme lifecycle.\nYour responsibilities will include:\nDevelopment and maintenance of positive engagement with programme customers, partners and suppliers\nOperating in a Safe & Secure manner\nEmbedding a culture in line with the QinetiQ values\nDelivery of the Programme outcomes, to agreed baseline (customer satisfaction, time, cost, quality, cash and sales)\nEnsuring programme members operate in line with the Operating Framework & functional competency management requirements; and have appropriate personal objectives recorded in the QinetiQ performance management system\nResolving conflicts (including prioritisation calls) within the programme and collaborating across QinetiQ\nEssential experience of the Programme Manager:\nExperience gained, typically rather than necessarily, between 4-6 of leading a business, projects, programmes, portfolios or P3 function; successful delivery of programmes or complex projects.\nExperience leading programmes or complex projects to 3 different customers\nDesirable qualifications for the Programme Manager:\nMSP Practitioner qualification\nWe value difference and we don’t have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education, provided you can show the required level of experience and willingness to learn then we would like to hear from you.\nThis role is 37 hours per week and is based out of our Bristol facility on a hybrid working pattern of 3 days per week on average, onsite.\nBristol\nThe QinetiQ facility in Bristol is part of the company’s broader operation focused on defence and technology innovation.
