Our projects have a diverse and complex stakeholder community, both internal and external to the company\nDay-to-day, you’ll be working with the UK MOD with Test & Evaluation and Training capabilities in the UK. QinetiQ undertakes specification, design, procurement, development, integration and acceptance of the Test & Evaluation and Training Systems across the Maritime, Land, and Air domains.\nYour responsibilities will include:\nDelivery of assigned projects to time, cost, quality and customer satisfaction\nPro-active Stakeholder management and relationship building\nSupport the IDT with Follow-On Sales to support QinetiQ growth ambitions\nOpen, accurate and timely project reporting, both to internal management and external customers\nDelivery of the project outputs, to agreed baseline (customer satisfaction, time, cost, quality, cash and sales)\nEssential experience of theProject Manager:\n2-5 years of experience within a Project Management environment\nIdeally from a heavy regulated industry background such as Defence or Aerospace\nEssential qualifications for theProject Manager:\nAPM PMQ, Prince2\nWe value difference and we don’t have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education, provided you can show the required level of experience and willingness to learn then we would like to hear from you.\nThis role is 37 hours per week based at either Fort Halstead or Shoeburyness with a minimum average site attendance of three days per week\nShoeburyness\nQinetiQ Shoeburyness is a significant test and evaluation facility specialising in defence and security technologies. The site is focused on Environmental Testing including the evaluation of various ordnance, explosives and related systems. Implementing measures to ensure that testing activities comply with environmental regulations and minimise ecological impact.\nFort Halstead\nOur facilities at Fort Halstead, located in Kent, focus on a wide range of defence-related research, particularly weapons systems and military technology.
