Join us as a Property Services Operative at our MOD Boscombe Down site, where you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in partnership with some of the most brilliant minds.\nThe Role\nAs a Property Services Operative, you will provide robust and flexible support and undertake a number of duties such as routine maintenance tasks, plumbing, grounds maintenance, escorting and other general duties in support of the Property Operations on a site.\nDay-to-day, you will provide support by delivering planned or requested activities in order to effectively deliver a high-quality operations service across the MOD Boscombe Down site.\nYour responsibilities will include:\nTo deliver tasks as identified such as plumbing, installations, painting and decorating and other general services\nTo ensure maintenance standards and quality of work delivered are to the required level\nTo assist in resolving customer issues with outstanding tasks or deliveries\nTo ensure the appropriate movement of consumables & materials across site in the ongoing management of services\nTo ensure the collection of waste items from across site and disposal in the correct receptacles\nTo assist the Grounds Maintenance team ensuring that the site grounds are kept to the required standard\nEssential experience of the Property Services Operative:\nAbility to safely deploy equipment\nPrevious plumbing experience an advantage\nManual Handling awareness / risk appreciation\nPrevious experience in a similar role\nEssential qualifications for the Property Services Operative:\nFull Driving License\nWe value difference and we don’t have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education, provided you can show the required level of experience and willingness to learn then we would like to hear from you.\nThis role is 37 hours per week based at our Boscombe Down site.\nMOD Boscombe Down is a unique operational site featuring the longest military runway in the UK. Primarily focusing on providing testing, evaluation and support services for aviation and aerospace systems.
