This covers daily operations, maintenance coordination, driver supervision, regulatory compliance, and fleet readiness for major events. The role acts as the Manager's deputy in day-to-day matters and is the first point of contact for fleet requests across the organization.\nKey Responsibilities\nFleet Operations\nPlan and allocate vehicles and drivers against daily operational needs and department requests.\nCoordinate fleet deployment for race weekends, test days, and national events, including support, recovery, and staff transport vehicles.\nMonitor vehicle usage, movement logs, and fuel consumption, and follow up on irregularities.\nMaintain an up-to-date record of all fleet assets, their condition, location, and assigned users.\nMaintenance and Asset Care\nSchedule preventive maintenance and servicing in line with manufacturer requirements and internal plans.\nCoordinate repairs with workshops, dealers, and service providers, and check that work is completed to standard.\nInspect vehicles regularly and report defects, damage, and safety concerns promptly.\nTrack maintenance history, downtime, and repair costs for each vehicle.\nCompliance and Documentation\nKeep vehicle registration (Istimara), technical inspection, and insurance current for the full fleet.\nManage accident and damage reporting, including coordination with the Traffic Department and insurers.\nTrack traffic violations, assign them to responsible drivers or users, and follow through to closure.\nMake sure fleet operations comply with Qatar traffic law, QMMF policies, and health and safety standards.\nDriver and Team Supervision\nSupervise drivers and fleet support staff on a daily basis, including duty rosters and attendance.\nCheck that drivers hold valid licences for the vehicle categories they operate.\nIdentify training needs and support safe driving practices across the team.\nHandle routine conduct and performance issues and escalate to the Manager where needed.\nCost Control and Reporting\nSupport preparation of the annual fleet budget and monitor spend against it.\nReview supplier quotations and invoices for fuel, maintenance, parts, and rentals.\nPrepare regular reports on fleet availability, utilization, costs, and compliance status.\nRecommend improvements, vehicle replacements, and disposals based on cost and condition data.\nOther Duties\nDeputize for the Manager - Fleet Management when required.\nCarry out other related duties as assigned by the line manager.\nQualifications and Experience\nDiploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transport Management, Mechanical or Automotive Engineering, or a related field.\nMinimum 5 years of experience in fleet or transport operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.\nExperience in Qatar or the wider GCC, with working knowledge of local vehicle registration, inspection, and traffic procedures.\nValid Qatar driving licence (light vehicle as a minimum; heavy vehicle licence is an advantage).\nExperience supporting large-scale events, motorsport, or venue operations is an advantage.\nSkills and Competencies\nSolid understanding of vehicle maintenance, servicing cycles, and fleet lifecycle management.\nWorking knowledge of fleet management or GPS tracking systems and MS Excel.\nAbility to plan resources under tight timelines, particularly during event periods.\nClear communicator able to deal with drivers, workshops, suppliers, and internal departments.\nOrganized, detail-focused, and reliable with records and documentation.\nFluency in English is required;
