About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Java Telecom Lead/Architect to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and development of robust, scalable, and high-performance Java-based solutions for telecom charging and signaling systems.
- Develop and maintain core components using Java and Spring Boot, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Implement and integrate solutions leveraging OpenCloud Rhino/JAIN SLEE platforms.
- Configure and customize SAP Convergent Charging (SAP CC) to meet specific business requirements.
- Design and implement solutions that effectively utilize the Diameter protocol for communication between network elements.
- Work with SS7/CAPv2/MAP signaling protocols to ensure seamless interoperability and functionality.
- Drive the development and optimization of real-time telecom charging (OCS) solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, operations, and other engineering groups, to define requirements and deliver solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production and development environments.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in telecommunications and software development.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in Java development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot framework.
- Proven experience with OpenCloud Rhino and/or JAIN SLEE.
- Extensive experience with SAP Convergent Charging (SAP CC).
- In-depth knowledge and practical application of the Diameter protocol.
- Solid experience with SS7, CAPv2, and MAP signaling protocols.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in real-time telecom charging (OCS) environments.
- Good understanding of telecommunications networks, signaling flows, and charging architectures.
- Experience in leading technical projects and mentoring teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
