Yanis grew from Lead Engineer to Head of Engineering over 4 years at Qonto.\nHe's a pragmatic generalist who has built payment integrations from scratch and is as comfortable on the frontend as on the backend. He gives engineers real ownership, values sharing failures as much as wins, and gets out of the way so the team can ship.\nOur stack & practices\nOur primary languages are Go and Ruby, ReactJS for frontend, and Kotlin and Swift for our mobile apps.\nOur platform runs on Kubernetes, hosted on AWS, with PostgreSQL as our database of choice.\nWe use Kafka for event-driven architecture and ELK for logging and auditing, among many other tools.\nEach engineer gets access AI-first tooling (Claude Code, Cursor, Notion AI), and we want people who use AI to raise the bar, not just to go faster.
