This includes\nmechanical support, electrical support, workshop/fabrication support, boiler\nand compressor operation and maintenance, ETP operation and maintenance, fire\nsuppression and water supply systems, conveyor maintenance, HVAC and\nrefrigeration installations among other equipment.\nDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:\n·Ensure adequate departmental staffing,\nSupervising engineering and technical staff, ensuring timely and quality\nservice delivery\n·Planning and undertaking scheduled inspections\nand maintenance\n·Promptly responding to breakdowns\n·Adhere to a strict machine inspection\nschedule diagnosing faults and initiating repairs before equipment failure.\nTarget is zero down time.\n·Obtaining specialist components,\nfixtures, fittings or materials\n·Managing budgets\n·Maintaining all departmental records\nincluding check lists, jobs logs, action closure trackers, staff attendance etc\n·Ensuring compliance with site health\nand safety regulations\n·Managing stocks of supplies and\nequipment.\nEnsure\nproper housekeeping in all work areas\nKNOWLEDGE,\nSKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:\n·At least five years’ experience in a\nbusy FMCG manufacturing plant in a senior maintenance supervisory or managerial\nrole, involved in installation, operation, repair and maintenance of industrial\nequipment\n·Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering\nand be registered with engineers board of Kenya.\n·Project scoping, designingand costing\n·Proficient in use of engineering\ndesign software(Autodesk AUTOCAD and Autodesk Inventor)\n·Ability to work well under pressure\nwith minimum or no supervision\n·Good verbal and written communication\nskills\n·Critical thinking and Problem-solving\nskills\n·Good planning and priority setting\nskills\n·Team building and working skills\n·People management skills\nApplication procedure\nInterested and qualified applicants\nshould submit their applications through the link below.\nNote:\nOnly shortlisted applicants will be\ncontacted.\nQ-SOURCING SERVTEC IS AN EQUAL\nOPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
