The Screen Printing Technical Operator will be\nresponsible for operating screen printing machines to print on plastic jars\nbased on provided artwork. Key responsibilities include machine setup, ink\npreparation, alignment, print quality assurance, and routine maintenance.\nDUTIES\n& RESPONSIBILITIES:\nProductionOperations:\n\nOperateassigned screen printing machines and ensure consistent, high-quality\noutput.\n\nMix inksaccurately to match color specifications.\n\nAlign screensand materials for precise image placement.\n\nMonitor andtroubleshoot issues such as misalignment, ink smudging, or machine\nmalfunctions.\n\nMeet dailymachine output targets and manage material flow to minimize waste.\n\nConduct routinequality checks and ensure proper product packaging.\n\nCollaboratewith Quality Assurance to carry out proper line clearance.\n\nPlanning:\nEnsure timelycollection of materials from stores to avoid production delays.\n\nCoordinateflaming, printing, drying, and packaging processes efficiently.\n\nMaintenance:\nPerform regularmachine cleaning and maintenance.\n\nMonitorequipment for abnormalities and report issues to technicians.\n\nMaintain properrecords using work order forms.\n\nHealth &Safety:\n\nMaintaincleanliness of the working area and participate in factory cleaning\nschedules.\n\nAdhere strictlyto all communicated safety procedures and standards.\n\nKEY\nCHALLENGES:\nExternal:\nDelays from suppliersof screens and inks.\n\nInconsistentquality of supplied screens.\n\nInternal:\nFailure to meetproduction targets.\n\nLow operationalspeed.\n\nPoorcommunication and job quality.\n\nInadequateoperational skills.\n\nRequirements\nKNOWLEDGE,\nSKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:\nMinimum\nKCSE grade C-.\n1-2\nyears of experience in screen printing operations, especially with plastic\nproducts.\nAbility\nto learn quickly and good machine-handling aptitude.\nAdvantageous\nto have a certificate/diploma in printing or mechanical engineering.\nFamiliarity\nwith automatic and manual screen printing; knowledge of offset/flexo printing\nis a plus.\nUnderstanding\nof manufacturing environments and procedures.\nBehavioralCompetencies:\n\nCreativity\nand a good sense of color.\nAttention\nto detail and troubleshooting ability.\nStrong\nteamwork and communication skills.\nAbility\nto read and understand English.\nCapable\nof quick decision-making in a fast-paced setting.\nApplication\nInstructions:\nInterested and qualified applicants should submit their applications through\nthe link below.\nNote:\nOnly shortlisted applicants will be contacted.\nQ-SOURCING SERVTEC IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
