The role focuses on establishing architecture and engineering best practices for the SDP platform, while overseeing application development, requirements analysis, technical planning, team coordination, mentoring, and documentation.\n\nResponsibilities\nImplement applications using microservices architecture style\nPerform code reviews\nCoordinate team work tasks\nLead requirements analysis and system architecture, to include building data base schemas and selecting the best development approach\nTechnical specification and tasks estimation\nPerform Scrum ceremonies (PG, retrospective etc.)\nMentor team members\nPrepare technical documentation\n\nSkills\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent professional experience\nSeven or more years of Software Engineering experience with a focus on APIs and system integration\nPrior experience working with front-end technologies, such as Angular, JavaScript, Type Script, HTML, CSS, as well as back-end technologies, such as Java (8+), Spring framework (Boot, Secuirty), Hibernate (JPA), SQL, REST\nExcellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills\nKnowledge of portal software, design, and development\nExperience working with or leading offshore Software Developers\nStrong technical documentation skills\nExcellent interpersonal skills (communication, conflict resolution, negotiation, etc.) when dealing with internal and/or external audiences at all levels of management\nAble to use organizational skills to determine prioritization and appropriate multitasking\nFocus on scope, tone, and quality of processes and their respective documentation, as well as the associated goals, priorities, deadlines, and weaknesses\nAbility to work independently, with supervision, on a project of varying complexity\nFour or more years of experience working with Microservices architecture\nPrior experience determining project requirements and developing work schedules for the team\nExperience with D3.js and Three.js (WebGL)\nBasic knowledge of OAuth\nExperience with Scala\n\nCompany Overview\nQTS is a global data center leader with unrivaled access to scalable infrastructure across North America and Europe.
