This internship provides hands-on experience with printing equipment projects while also supporting capital improvements, maintenance, energy efficiency initiatives, and facility operations across the plant.\nThis role is ideal for an engineering student looking to gain real-world exposure to mechanical design, manufacturing support, and facility infrastructure within a fast-paced industrial environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nMechanical Engineering Support\nAssist with product and component design and development for printing equipment\nUtilize 3D CAD software (Creo preferred) to support mechanical designs and documentation\nPerform basic engineering calculations and analysis to support design intent and compliance\nProvide engineering support to manufacturing and field service teams\nAssist with project documentation, change tracking, and engineering records\nProject & Facility Engineering Support\nParticipate as an active team member in planning, developing, and coordinating engineering activities for capital projects, maintenance, renovations, and energy initiatives\nAssist with preparing cost estimates, project schedules, timelines, and scopes of work\nSupport coordination with internal teams and external contractors to ensure safe, compliant execution\nAssist with inspections and troubleshooting of facility systems such as HVAC, power distribution, fire protection, compressed air, vacuum, wastewater, steam/condensate, and utility systems\nHelp identify energy and material waste and support continuous improvement efforts\nApply Lean methodology concepts to assigned tasks and projects\nTravel between Quad facilities when required\nThis role will begin once you are out of school for summer through the end of
