The team works across virtual machines, databases, CI/CD, monitoring, automation and internal platform services such as Thanos, Prometheus, Grafana, Ceph and profiling systems.\nOur infrastructure includes 2,000+ virtual machines and 500+ physical servers, supported by a strong team of experienced engineers.\nWe work with Scrum, Agile and a data-driven approach, with two-week sprints and a strong focus on continuous improvement.\nThe position is full-time remote, with a flexible start time - anytime before 12:00 pm EET/EEST.\nWhy this role?\nYou won’t be focused on just maintaining servers or working with isolated infrastructure components.\nYou’ll be part of the team responsible for the production environment behind products used by millions of users, working directly with development teams, helping them troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues and keep their services running reliably in production.\nIt’s a good fit for an engineer who enjoys troubleshooting, automation and making infrastructure more reliable and scalable, rather than simply maintaining servers.\nTasks\nAdminister Linux servers (Ubuntu) across development and production environments.\nAdminister PostgreSQL databases and Greenplum clusters, including performance and reliability troubleshooting.\nAdminister and support KeyDB, ClickHouse and Kafka.\nConfigure and maintain infrastructure services such as Nginx, Jenkins, GitLab CI, DataHub, Allure and Airflow.\nAutomate infrastructure and operational tasks using Ansible, as well as scripting with Python, Bash and other languages. \nWork with Docker and Kubernetes environments, including application deployments using Helm. \nMonitor production systems, troubleshoot incidents and improve system performance and reliability.\nBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines, working with tools such as GitLab CI and Jenkins. \nWork with OpenStack and AWS infrastructure. \nSupport development teams with infrastructure-related issues and their working environments.\nWork closely with the Infrastructure team to troubleshoot issues and coordinate infrastructure changes, including new hardware provisioning.\nContribute to security practices and PCI DSS requirements.\nRequirements\n3+ years of hands-on experience administering Linux servers in production environments.\nStrong practical knowledge of Linux internals, networking, system services and troubleshooting.\nExperience administering PostgreSQL and/or Greenplum. \nExperience with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.\nHands-on experience with Ansible for infrastructure automation.\nGood scripting skills with Python and/or Bash.\nHands-on experience with CI/CD, particularly GitLab CI and/or Jenkins.\nExperience with monitoring, logging and system profiling, particularly Prometheus and Grafana.\nFluent Russian (C2 or higher) for communication with the team.\nEnglish B1+ for technical documentation and written communication. \nNice to have\nDBA experience, including hands-on administration of databases and data infrastructure.\nExperience with Patroni.\nExperience supporting high-load or distributed production systems.\nExperience with AWS and OpenStack.\nExperience with PCI DSS.\nExperience reading and/or writing code in PHP/Go. \nExperience with Chef. \nWe
