The role requires an individual to use independent thought and creativity in addition to their knowledge, training, and experience to solve complex problems and develop new solutions. The ideal candidate will be an individual who is driven, detail-oriented, and technically competent. Experience with Quadient’s solutions is preferred.\nKey Responsibilities\nEngineering\nLead go-to-market projects for new applications and solutions, representing Product Engineering and Service throughout development, testing, and launch.\nPartner with Product Management, Marketing, Sales, R&D, Field Service, customers, and external partners to develop, evaluate, and improve products, specifications, and performance standards.\nDrive product reviews, process improvements, and new initiatives, coordinating cross-functional resources to improve quality, reliability, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.\nCollaborate with factories and R&D teams to resolve mechanical and software issues, support solution configurations, and facilitate product development, training, and continuous improvement.\nDevelop and execute test plans, beta testing, and validation processes to ensure compliance with regulations, functional requirements, design standards, and customer expectations.\nOwn go-to-market readiness by approving product releases, creating technical service documentation and training materials, and engaging with customers to ensure successful solution deployment and satisfaction.\nSupport\nProvides “Tier-3” advanced technical support of new, current, and legacy products and solutions regarding escalated issues from customers and/or Field Service teams by replicating issues, identifying bugs, and developing solutions without any scripts or support documentation\nWork with customer’s IT departments to troubleshoot difficult network connectivity issues\nSupport and attend trade shows to help organize, set up, and support products during show\nCreate/update/distribute supporting documentation (operations, parts, service)\nTraining\nDevelop and create customer and technical training videos and other digital content\nAssist with developing and reviewing technical training course content and conducting classes as required\nSupports all members of the Tier-2 Technical Support, Technical Training, and Field Service teams by providing supplemental training and information on new products, special tools, new technologies, and/or best practices\n Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant work experience.\n3+ years minimum technical or engineering experience with B2B Office equipment and PC applications.\nAble to work independently with little guidance.\nProject management skills\nNetwork+ and/or SQL certification desired\nKnowledgeable in Microsoft Windows and Office365\nTechnical writing skills\nKnowledge of Salesforce preferred\nAble to travel 35% of the time\nKnowledge gaps can be filled.
