In a fully cloud-first environment, you will manage our Azure-hosted IT systems, maintain critical database platforms, and ensure the availability, performance, and security of our data infrastructure. This is a versatile role that bridges everyday IT operations with modern data engineering practices.\nResponsibilities:\nAdminister Azure-hosted infrastructure: virtual machines, storage accounts, Azure Backup, and disaster recovery configurations;\nManage Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), RBAC, Conditional Access policies, and enterprise application registrations;\nDeploy and operate Azure SQL Databases;\nMonitor database performance, manage index strategies, query tuning, and capacity planning;\nDesign and maintain backup, replication, and geo-failover configurations to meet RTO/RPO targets;\nDevelop automation scripts for IT and database tasks;\nSupport data migrations and schema changes in collaboration with development teams;\nManage Azure Monitor, Log Analytics Workspaces, and alerting rules for proactive operations;\nAssist with compliance, data governance requirements, and internal audits relevant to Greek and EU regulations (GDPR);\nProvide Tier 2/3 support for cloud infrastructure and database incidents; and\nEnsure all activities are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, while supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.\nRequirements\nMinimum 3 years of experience in similar roles;\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field;\nMicrosoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or Azure Database Administrator Associate (DP-300) - or actively pursuing;\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, SSO integrations, MFA, PIM, Conditional Access and enterprise identity management;\nWorking knowledge in Azure networking (Vnets, Azure firewall, ExpressRoute basics, Hub-and-Spoke networking);\nHands-on experience managing Azure SQL Database (Backup/Restore strategies, performance tuning, capacity planning);\nBasic T-SQL skills: query writing, stored procedures;\nExperience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and diagnostic settings;\nProficiency in PowerShell or Python for automation and scripting;\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills;\nIncident ownership, Root Cause Analysis and effective time management and prioritization skills;\nAbility to work both independently and collaboratively;\nExcellent communication and documentation skills;\nGood knowledge of English written & spoken.\nBenefits\nYour Life @ Qualco Group\nAs a #Qmember, you will live out every day in a truly human-centred culture, based on mutual respect, trust, and cooperation.
