You will play a key role in shaping the ANC experience of next-generation consumer audio products.\nJob Description\nLead ANC evaluation and tuning with customers to deliver optimal ANC performance.\nProvide technical support across the product lifecycle, including design-win, tuning/testing, feature scoping, validation, and production.\nInvestigate and resolve ANC and system-level issues in collaboration with customers and Qualcomm engineering teams.\nDeliver technical documentation, measurement reports, and tuning/application guides to customers.\nBased in Shenzhen, with travel as needed (up to 30%).\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Acoustics, or a related field.\n5+ years of experience in audio/voice tuning, electro-acoustic simulation, acoustic measurement/automation, audio algorithm development, or DSP porting.\nSolid understanding of audio signal processing, including IIR/FIR filters, FFT, and LMS.\nGood understanding of room acoustics, electro-acoustic components (ADC/DAC, microphone, speaker), and measurement techniques, particularly for ANC.\nProven debugging and root-cause analysis skills for embedded or real-time audio systems.\nGood written and spoken English for technical communication with customers and global teams.\nStrong ability to manage multiple customer engagements simultaneously and prioritize effectively.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with ANC system design, including acoustic simulation, ANC filter design, adaptive ANC, wind noise reduction, or howling suppression.\nExperience with Qualcomm ANC or Kymera audio framework.\nProficiency in MATLAB or Python for analysis, plus ML for voice or ANC processing.\nMinimum Qualifications:\n• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.OR\nMaster's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.\nOR\nPhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.\n1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.\n• 1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with debugging techniques.\nQualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
