Today, we have a state-of-the-art Bazel-based build system, and a mono-repository based integration flow. We build ~10Gb of source code and execute tests, including on target hardware, in under 10 minutes for every commit. Your job is to further improve upon this state including diagnose and optimization of performance bottlenecks, introducing new testing strategies and frameworks to further increase confidence, and investigate health metrics and other ways to gain insight into build system optimizations.\nYour work includes architecting the build system for products at the magnitude of several hundred to a thousand developers. You will not only operate services such as Zuul and Buildbarn running on for example Kubernetes on prem and AWS infrastructure. You will also push, adapt and impact those products in the open-source community.
