Qualcomm Systems Engineers collaborate across functional teams to meet and exceed system-level requirements and standards.\nMinimum Qualifications:\n• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.OR\nMaster's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Engineering or related work experience.\nOR\nPhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.\n Preferred Qualifications:\nMaster's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.\n4+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.\n2+ years of 4G/5G/6G systems and associated cellular standards (e.g., 3GPP NR, LTE, LTE, 3G).\n2+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization.\n1+ year of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Sr. Staff level and above).\n Principal Duties and Responsibilities:\nApplies Systems knowledge and experience to research, design, develop, simulate, and/or validate systems-level software, hardware, architecture, algorithms, and solutions while ensuring system-level requirements and standards are met.\nPerforms functional analysis to drive requirements and specifications and to define and align with standards for hardware and software.\nDevelops and analyzes system level design including requirements, interface definition, functional/performance definition, and implementation of a new system or modification of an existing system.\nCollaborates with own team and other teams to complete project work, including implementing and testing features and verifying the accuracy of systems.\nDevelops new and innovative ideas (e.g. IDFs) for a product or feature area.\nDrives triage of problems at the system level to determine root cause and presents results of testing and debugging to team members.\n Level of Responsibility:\nWorks under supervision.\nDecision-making may affect work beyond immediate work group.\nRequires verbal and written communication skills to convey information.
