With dedicated hardware, multi-core processors and GPU, QCT imaging solutions achieve state of the art video/photo quality, and target applications requiring auto white balance, auto exposure control, auto focus, automatic scene detection and compensation.\nKey Responsibilities:\n* Developing camera auto exposure control (AEC) and auto focus (AF) algorithmfor IP camera, sport camera, drone camera, and robotic camera.\n* Working with software teams to implement the new algorithms. The work includes the proper documentation and the verification approach for SW engineers.\n* Working with the test teams to design test methods for the algorithms and to facilitate the test of the new algorithms before SW release.\n* Working with customer engineers to solve various 3A issues.\n* Providing internal technical training courses.\nMinimum Qualifications:\n* 3+ years of experience in AEC or AF camera algorithm.\n* Experience debugging and optimizing image quality issues in complex camera pipelines.\n* Good experience with Programming Language C++.\n* Ability to speak and write in English fluently.\n* Hands-on experience developing algorithms for embedded devices.\n* Working knowledge of Linux development and debugging environments.\nPreferred Qualifications:\n* Experience in Phase Detection (PD) algorithm is a big plus.\n* Strong hands-on experience in AEC/AWB tuning, tuning strategy development, and image quality optimization.\n* Familiarity with Qualcomm camera tools and workflows, including platforms involving ISP-based tuning and validation.\n* Experience in large-scale software projects.\n* A self-driven and collaborative working style, with the ability to operate effectively across teams and project phases.\nEducation Requirements\n* Master's, Imaging/Color/Optics Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering, and/or related field.\n* Preferred: Doctorate, Imaging/Color/Optics Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering, and/or related field.\nMinimum Qualifications:\n• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.OR\nMaster's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Engineering or related work experience.\nOR\nPhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.\nApplicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
