Our solutions leverage dedicated hardware, multi-core processors, DSP, and GPU cores to provide state-of-the-art photographs, video recordings, as well as scene data for image understanding and object detection. Responsibilities include the following:\n- Research and development for next generation camera features and image quality improvement.\n- Prototype solutions on mobile platforms for proof of concept and demonstration purposes.\n- Deployment and tuning support of solutions that improve the mobile imaging experience.\n- Design of camera systems that balance power, memory, silicon area to maximize imaging performance.\n- - Design auto exposure / tone algorithm to achieve best camera image auto exposure quality.\n- - Design image processing algorithm and acceleration on CPU/GPU/DSP.\nQualification\n- 5+ years working experiences in the following areas:\n- Camera and image processing technologies.\n- Expert at camera 3A algorithm design and implementation.\n- Deep understanding of ISP pipeline and brightness modules, mobile camera sensors and optics.\n- Linux SW development experience.\n- Hands-on experience developing algorithms for mobile devices.\n- Image signal processor pipeline design.\n- Customer support/ camera tuning experience.\n- C, C++, Python, Matlab.\n- familiar with digital camera basic concept, proficient in Lightroom/Photoshop editing tool and LUTs implement is better.\nPhysical Requirements\nFrequently transports between offices, buildings, and campuses up to ½ mile.\nFrequently transports and installs equipment up to 5 lbs.\nPerforms required tasks at various heights (e.g., standing or sitting).\nMonitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day.\nContinuous communication which includes the comprehension of information with colleagues, customers, and vendors both in person and remotely.\nMinimum Qualifications:\n• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
