Contributions will cater to different cutting-edge Qualcomm SoCs used in Premium Tier Mobiles, Laptops, Automotive, Cloud and Server products.\nMinimum Qualifications:\n• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.OR\nMaster's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.\nOR\nPhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.\n• 2+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMaster's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.\n\n6+ yrs of Experience in Embedded system development\n\nUnderstanding of ARM CPU architecture fundamentals and ARMv8/v9 ISA\n\nPerformance Evaluation and Optimization of the applications for ARM architecture based SoCs\n\nFamiliarity of typical Open-Source development tools and frameworks\n\nExperience in software or driver development for operating systems like Linux or RTOS (zephyr RTOS)\n\nGood Programming skills using C, C++ or ARM assembly\n\nStrong Analytical and debugging skills\n\nSkills to collaborate with multiple-teams including HW design to define the software architecture\n\nUnderstanding of RISCV architecture fundamentals is a plus\n\nPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities:\nApplies Software knowledge and experience to design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs.\n\nAnalyzes user needs and software requirements to design and customize software for optimal operational efficiency.\n\nDesigns and implements software modules for products and systems.\n\nParticipates in the design, coding for large features, unit testing, significant debugging fixes, and integration efforts to ensure projects are completed to specifications and schedules.\n\nPerforms code reviews and regression tests as well as triages and fixes issues to ensure the quality of code.\n\nCollaborates with others inside project team to accomplish project objectives.\n\nWrites technical documentation for Software projects.\n\nLevel of Responsibility:\nWorks under supervision.\n\nDecision-making may affect work beyond immediate work group.\n\nRequires verbal and written communication skills to convey information.
