The role involves full ownership of custom SRAM and RF designs from schematic capture to analysis and model generation.\nMinimum qualifications\nBA/BS degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of practical experience\nExperience with designing SRAM circuits \nExperience in industry standard custom design tools and flows\nExperience with circuit simulation and monte carlo analysis. \nExperience with static timing analysis.\nPreferred qualifications\nMS degree in Electrical Engineering; 7+ years of practical experience\nStrong knowledge of SRAM and Register File techniques with advanced custom circuit implementations\nStrong knowledge of high-performance and low-power design features and techniques\nStrong knowledge of semiconductor device fundamentals\nFamiliar with variation-aware simulation in FinFet and Nanosheet technology nodes\nExperience with custom memory layout designs\nExperience with all memory analysis steps including design entry, functional verification, layout guidance, simulation, timing, power and electrical characterization.\nGood understanding of physical implementation impact on circuit performance\nProficiency with the following tools: NanoTime, Ansys EMIR analysis, ESP-CV, Liberate power analysis\nRoles and Responsibilities\nDevelop custom digital circuits for high-speed and low-power SRAM designs\nSchematic capture\nLayout planning and supervision\nFunctional verification\nSimulation and margin verification\nTiming characterization\nPerforming analysis steps necessary to generate all deliverable collateral models\nInteracting with CAD team to ensure proper and efficient model generation\nInteracting with Physical Design team resolve memory PPA challenges\nApplicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
