Qualcomm Engineers collaborate with cross-functional groups to determine product execution path.\nThe Opportunity\nWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced VLSI design Engineer for several advanced high-speed chips.\nWhat You’ll Do\nWork with the Architecture team on the module’s definition.\nDesign micro-architecture and implement it.\nWork closely with the verification team.\nWork closely with the PD team.\nOptimize the design for the lowest power consumption.\nRun QA checks like lint checks, CDC checks and GLS.\nWork with teams abroad.\nWork on cutting edge technologies and processes.\nWhat You’ll Need\nBS, MS in Physics, Electrical Engineering.\nAt least 3 years of VLSI design experience.\nExperience with networking chips is considered an advantage.\nVery good English skills.\nExcellent communication and teamwork skills.\nAbout You\nYou have good communication, writing and presentation skills.\nExtremely detail oriented.\nYou are a cooperative and collaborative team player.\nSuperb analytical and problem-solving skills.\nSelf-motivated and self-managing.\nMinimum Qualifications:\n• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.OR\nMaster's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.\nOR\nPhD in Science, Engineering, or related field.\n*References to a particular number of years experience are for indicative purposes only.
