Qualcomm Software Engineers collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams to design system-level software solutions and obtain information on performance requirements and interfaces.\nMinimum Qualifications:\n• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.Preferred Qualifications:\nMaster's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.\n4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.\n2+ years of experience with Database Management Software.\n2+ years of experience with API.\n1+ year of work experience with Git, Perforce, or Source Code Management System.\nPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities:\nApplies Software knowledge and experience to design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs.\nAnalyzes user needs and software requirements to design and customize software for optimal operational efficiency.\nDesigns and implements software modules for products and systems.\nParticipates in the design, coding for large features, unit testing, significant debugging fixes, and integration efforts to ensure projects are completed to specifications and schedules.\nPerforms code reviews and regression tests as well as triages and fixes issues to ensure the quality of code.\nCollaborates with others inside project team to accomplish project objectives.\nWrites technical documentation for Software projects.\nLevel of Responsibility:\nWorks under supervision.\nDecision-making may affect work beyond immediate work group.\nRequires verbal and written communication skills to convey information.
