Role Overview:
Join us in advancing the Qualcomm open-source embedded linker and shaping the future of toolchain technology. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge embedded systems, improve performance, and contribute to open-source innovation.
What You’ll Do:
- Enhance and optimize the Qualcomm open-source linker for embedded platforms.
- Collaborate with compiler and runtime teams to deliver a robust, high-performance toolchain.
- Contribute to open-source projects and engage with the global developer community.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong expertise in linker internals (ELF, relocation, symbol versioning, memory mapping).
- Solid understanding of embedded systems constraints (limited memory, performance-critical environments).
- Experience with toolchain development (linkers, loaders, compilers).
- Proficiency in C/C++ and familiarity with open-source workflows (Git, CI/CD).
Bonus: Knowledge of Hexagon architecture or similar DSP/embedded platforms.
