This role involves working on ARM architecture, Linux/Android/QNX drivers and platform-level security features. The candidate will help triage customer-reported issues, customize OEM platforms, and support product launches.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDebug and resolve issues on Linux/Android/QNX platforms (stability, functionality, customization).\nCustomize SOC/security drivers for Qualcomm ASICs based on OEM needs.\nWork on ARM TrustZone, Hypervisor, and platform security.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery.\nMust-Have Skills\nStrong debugging skills with ARM architecture and TrustZone. Knowedge and some hands on experience with AUTOSAR stack is desirable\nExperience with JTAG/T32, crash-dump analysis.\nSolid understanding of Linux/RTOS internals (scheduler, MMU/SMMU, IPCs, etc.\nHands-on experience with device drivers in embedded systems.\nProficiency in C/C++/Java/Python.\nFamiliarity with Android security features and cryptographic algorithms(RSA/AES/ECC)\nExposure to boot architectures (uBoot, Bootloader, UEFI).\nExperience with Android framework/service/driver development.\nFamiliarity with QNX OS and QNX internals\nExperience with OpenSSL/Crypto drivers is a plus.\nFamiliarity with development tools like GIT, P4, GERRIT.\nExposure to crypto algorithms, AUTOSAR crypto requirement, Cybersecurity compliance ISO 21434 awareness\nMinimum Qualifications:\n• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.OR\nMaster's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience\nOR\nPhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.\n1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.\n• 1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with debugging techniques.\nApplicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
