Qualcomm Systems Engineers collaborate across functional teams to meet and exceed system-level requirements and standards.\nMinimum Qualifications:\n• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.Job description\nResearch and develop algorithms for cutting edge ultra-high speed optical communication systems\nTest and optimize the system performance and behavior in various working environments, i.e., simulation, FPGA, ASIC, lab, etc.\nDevelop algorithms suitable for HW and FW implementation, including fixed point design, cost/power/performance tradeoff, etc.\nWork closely with FW, architecture, VLSI design and verification teams for blocks/system ASIC implementation and validation\nPerform post silicon activities, including chip bring-up, testing, analysis, and optimization of the ASIC performance\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Communication Engineering or related field and 2+ years of Algo/Systems Engineering or related work experience.\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Communication Engineering or related field.\n1+ years of Algo/Systems Engineering or related work experience.\nExperience in high speed communication, i.e. SerDes, PCIE.
