Engineering Technicians will also be responsible for upkeeping and implementing operations and safety standards in the workplace to ensure all components of our equipment is properly handled.\nMinimum Qualifications:\n• Associate's degree.OR\nHigh School diploma or equivalent and 1+ year of Engineering Technician or related work experience.\nPhysical Requirements:\n• Frequently transports and installs equipment weighing at least 25 lbs.\n Preferred Qualifications:\nAssociate's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.\n1+ year of experience with general computer skills and Microsoft applications.\n1+ year of experience in Semiconductor or related industry.\nMilitary experience or training in electronics field (Rank E4+).\n1+ year of experience working in a large matrixed organization.\nPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities:\nSets up and maintains benches, testers, and other equipment. Transports, installs, upgrades, and configures equipment and components.\nPerforms measurements, documents test results and KPIs, and maintains malfunction records.\nTroubleshoots and performs repair work, rework, removal, and adjustments to equipment as necessary with individuals inside own team and with other teams.\nSets up test equipment using hand tools or automatic test methods to perform tests of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.\nExecutes manual and automated test plans and provides some input on test cases and test procedures; reproduces and debugs issues.\nTracks the purchasing, shipping/transporting, receiving, and usage of inventory and equipment for test labs, field engineering, and business unit projects.\nLevel of Responsibility:\nWorks under supervision.\nDecision-making affects direct area of work and/or work group.\nApplicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
