This critical role involves defining the architecture of a Server SoC that meets critical KPIs for the customers.\nThe ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of CPU and SoC architecture for datacenter and enterprise markets, including experience in Chiplet architecture, CPU architecture, Coherency management, Memory system, Power management, RAS, Security, Debug and Test architecture. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential for excelling in this position.\nMinimum Qualifications:\n• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 10+ years of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.OR\nMaster's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 9+ years of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.\nOR\nPhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 8+ years of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.\n Preferred Qualifications:\nBachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 15 years of experience in semiconductor product development (Ex: System design, SoC architecture, HW design and validation, Silicon test, SW development).\n\nOver 15 years of experience in architecture of CPU and/or SoCs, and at least 7 years of experience with a high-performance server chip\n\nStrong expertise in multiple architecture domains of a server SoC\n\nExperience in making PPA, cost, feature and schedule trade-offs to define product architecture\n\nStrong fundamentals in digital ASIC design and power of CMOS circuits\n\nStrong technical documentation skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.\n\nDeep understanding of CPU architecture and the KPIs for leadership server products\n\nExperience in commercializing server products with proven ability to influence next-generation architectures\n\nExperience in architecting products using chiplets and various package integration technologies.\n\nStrong expertise across multiple SoC architecture domains like coherency management, memory system, IO architecture, Power management and Security\n\nExperience with RAS, Debug and Test architecture for datacenter products\n\nExperience with ARM architecture including server architectures is a plus\n\nProven track record in delivering hyperscale data center solutions\n\nKey Responsibilities\nCollaborate with chip and platform architects to define and develop Product and SoC architecture\n\nDevelop server roadmap and feature set across one or more architecture domains\n\nAnalytical modeling of key server KPIs for performance, power, area, cost, RAS, etc.\n\nCreate detailed architecture specification documents\n\nMust have good communication skills and able to work in dynamic environment with top level engineers and technologists\n\nQualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
