Replacement Position\nResponsibilities\nStay current with the latest advances in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and foundation models.\n\nResearch, develop, and optimize AI algorithms for deployment on Qualcomm Snapdragon platforms.\n\nDesign and build innovative reference applications showcasing Snapdragon AI capabilities across mobile, edge, XR, and IoT devices.\n\nEvaluate and balance hardware and software trade-offs to achieve optimal performance, power efficiency, and user experience.\n\nSupport the implementation, optimization, and commercialization of AI algorithms and applications on Snapdragon devices.\n\nQualifications:\nStrong background in machine learning algorithms, computer vision, multimodal AI, agentic AI, or related fields.\n\nProficiency with modern machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.\n\nPassion for innovation and for building efficient AI solutions on edge devices.\n\nStrong software development skills in Python and/or C++,\n\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.\n\nFamiliarity with embedded development, operating systems concepts and software development principles.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMaster’s or PhD degree with 0-2 years of relevant professional work experience or publications (CVPRS, neurIPS, etc) in the areas of machine learning, agentic AI, computer vision, video/image processing algorithms, NLP or audio/speech processing.\n\nExperience developing and deploying AI solutions in real-world applications.\n\nExperience translating AI/ML algorithms into software applications running on edge devices.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.Applicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
