Replacement position.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign and implement high-performance software solutions that extend GenAI capabilities across customer use cases.\nOptimize GenAI model execution on-device, leveraging Hexagon DSPs for efficient inference and minimal latency.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GenAI features.\nContribute to the development of GenAI-enhanced workflows for chip design and system optimization.\nDuties :\nDevelopment of modern C++17 software library for Qualcomm Hexagon Processors\nDesign and performance tune modern C++17 code for an embedded system\nDevelopment of model analyzing tools for the internal and external customers\nUse cross compiler toolchains for embedded systems such as Android, embedded Linux, Windows on Snapdragon and QNX\nAddress issues found in existing and past Qualcomm AI products\nImplement and optimize modern C++17 machine learning operations on Hexagon Processors\nCommunication across globally diverse team\nParticipate in software quality process improvements\nPreferred Qualifications:\nThree or more years of relevant work experience\nExperience with modern C++17 language features\nBackground in mathematical algorithms using fast math libraries and vector instructions sets\nPractical experience with developing middleware or firmware software\nExperience with multitasking and multithreading driver development\nExperience with Hexagon DSP SDK or cross compiler toolchains for embedded systems and JIT technologies\nExperience with different NN architectures DNNs, CNNs, RNNs/LSTMs, GANs, LLMs, etc.\nExperience with low level interactions between operating systems and hardware.\nExperience with Qualcomm FastRPC and Windows MCDM drivers\nExperience using/integrating Qualcomm AI Stack products (e.g. QNN, SNPE, QAIRT)\nFamiliarity with TensorFlow, PyTorch or ONNX\nExperience with tools such as git, Linux, JIRA and Docker\nKnowledge of object oriented programming design patterns\nAbility to collaborate across a globally diverse team\nMinimum Qualifications:\n• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.Applicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
