This is more than a network engineering role -it'syour chance to grow your careerata Fortune 500 technology leader, work withcutting-edgeinfrastructure atenterprisescale, and help shape a brand-new team from the ground up.\nKey Responsibilities\nOperate,monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise LAN and Wi-Fi infrastructure across Qualcomm sites\n\nPerform configuration changes, firmware upgrades, and maintenance activities on routing and switching platforms\n\nRespond to network incidents, perform root cause analysis, and drive resolution within established SLAs\n\nExecute standard change requests following established operational procedures andchangemanagement processes\n\nCollaborate with the India operations team on shift handoffs, shared ticket queues, and operational continuity\n\nPartner with the architecture and design team in San Diego to implement approved network designs and standards\n\nMaintainaccuratenetwork documentation including topology diagrams, asset inventories, and configuration baselines\n\nContribute to continuous improvement of operational processes, runbooks, and automation efforts\n\nRequired Qualifications\n3-5 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network operations\n\nStrong working knowledge of Layer 2/Layer 3 networking protocols (STP, VLAN, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP)\n\nExperienceoperatingand troubleshooting enterprise wireless (Wi-Fi) infrastructure\n\nFamiliarity with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Cisco DNA Center, or similar)\n\nExperience with Cisco routing and switching platforms (Catalyst, Nexus, or equivalent)\n\nStrong English communication skills - written and verbal -requiredfor daily collaboration with global teams\n\nAbility to work on-site in Mexico City 5 days per week\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nCisco CCNA or CCNP certification\n\nExperience working in a global, follow-the-sun operations model\n\nFamiliarity with network automation tools (Ansible, Python scripting)\n\nITIL Foundation or experience working within ITIL-based service management frameworks\n\n Minimum Qualifications:\n• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.OR\n1+ year of IT-related work experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a non-technical field (e.g., Business, Humanities, Marketing), or related field.\nOR\n3+ years of IT-related work experience with a High school diploma or equivalent.\nApplicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
