You will be immersed in a highly interactive and dynamic environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to architect cutting-edge lower-power edge-AI technologies involving RISC-V microcontrollers, open-source RTOS, Qualcomm DSPs & RTOS.\nMinimum Qualifications:\n• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.OR\nMaster's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.\nOR\nPhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.\n• 2+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDefine the software and system architecture for Qualcomm's low-power edge-AI technologies\nCollaborate with product management, customers and hardware architecture teams to understand system requirements and use cases.\nEngage in systems engineering of complex use cases involving software and hardware components across multiple technology domains.\nEvaluate architectural options and trade-offs and develop architecture proposals and specifications.\nContinuously review and apply the latest innovations from different business units within Qualcomm\nPreferred Qualifications:\n6+ years of experience in architecting complex embedded systems\nExperience in designing hardware/software interfaces and system design.\nAbility and willingness to collaborate with various functional organizations distributed globally across multiple sites.\nKnowledge and experience in some of the following domains: SoC architecture, RISC-V microcontrollers, Zephyr OS and device drivers, ARM architecture (such as SMMU, CCA), Linux kernel and device drivers, SoC Boot software, PCIe/CXL technology and software stack, serial interfaces like I2C/I3C/SPI\nQualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
