In this role, you will be responsible for semiconductor test program development, test hardware design and verification, product characterization, failure analysis, reliability test support, and mass production yield improvement. You will work closely with test houses, research and development teams, manufacturing partners, and cross-functional engineering organizations to ensure product quality, test coverage, and production readiness.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop, debug, and maintain semiconductor test programs for new product introduction and mass production.\n\nDefine, design, and verify test hardware, including probe cards, load boards, sockets, and related test interfaces.\n\nDevelop and optimize test methodologies and test flows to improve test coverage, efficiency, and product quality.\n\nPerform failure analysis and identify root causes of product, test, and manufacturing issues.\n\nAnalyze test data and drive yield improvement through systematic problem solving and cross-functional collaboration.\n\nExecute product characterization analysis across voltage, frequency, temperature, and process conditions.\n\nSupport reliability testing, including test planning, execution, data analysis, and issue resolution.\n\nMonitor and maintain mass production yield, test quality, and product performance.\n\nCollaborate with test houses and manufacturing partners to resolve production issues and improve test capability.\n\nWork closely with R&D, design, validation, quality, and operations teams to support product development and production ramp.\n\nPrepare test reports, characterization results, failure analysis summaries, and yield improvement recommendations.\n\nSupport new product introduction, test release, production ramp-up, and ongoing product quality management\n\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.\n\nHands-on experience operating semiconductor automatic test equipment, such as:\nAdvantest 93K\n\nCredence D10/DX\n\nTeradyne UltraFlex\n\nSolid understanding of semiconductor test methodologies and test flows.\n\nExperience with test program development, debugging, and production support.\n\nExperience with failure analysis, characterization, or yield improvement.\n\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.\n\nGood communication and cross-functional collaboration skills\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in IC product testing, wafer sort, final test, or system-level test for 5 to 9 years or above.\n\nExperience designing and verifying test hardware, including probe cards, load boards, sockets, and interface boards.\n\nProficiency in test data analysis and statistical analysis.\n\nExperience with semiconductor characterization and corner analysis.\n\nExperience supporting reliability testing and qualification activities.\n\nExperience with mass production yield monitoring and improvement.\n\nFamiliarity with test data analysis tools, statistical methods, and data visualization.\n\nStrong communication and collaboration skills with test houses, R&D teams, manufacturing partners, and suppliers.\n\nAbility to work effectively in a globally distributed engineering environment.\n\nStrong ownership, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.OR\nMaster's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.\nOR\nPhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.\nApplicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
