Music Business Unit (VnM BU) is responsible for providing program management leadership for the planning, development, integration, and delivery of software spanning multiple technology areas and product segments.\nThe role will focus on Audio, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and embedded software technologies, supporting products such as earbuds, personal audio, and other Voice & Music solutions.\nThe successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional engineering, product, business, and customer-facing teams to drive end-to-end program execution, manage dependencies and risks, and ensure high-quality software delivery.\nKey Responsibilities\nDrive requirements scoping, analysis, planning, and execution across multiple software and technology teams, managing interdependencies, resource constraints, customer requirements, and schedule optimization.\nEstablish clear Plan of Record (PoR) commitments and drive prioritization, milestone alignment, and timely decision-making across competing requirements.\nManage programs across the complete software development lifecycle, from planning and development through integration, validation, release, and customer delivery.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams including Audio, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, BSP, Connectivity, Sensors, system software, validation, product teams, and customer-facing teams to drive end-to-end execution.\nProactively identify and manage program risks, dependencies, critical paths, and schedule variances, driving mitigation, recovery plans, issue resolution, and escalation as needed.\nEstablish strong execution and communication mechanisms, including program health metrics for schedule, quality, milestones, and risks, along with executive reporting and stakeholder communication.\nDrive end-to-end hardware/software integration and product readiness, partnering with engineering, quality, product, and operations teams to ensure disciplined execution and high-quality delivery.\nCoordinate across global development sites, external partners, and stakeholders, while driving scalable processes, automation, and continuous improvements that simplify execution and improve delivery efficiency.\nRequired Skills & Experience\nCore Program Management & Domain Experience\nStrong domain knowledge and experience in Wireless and Semiconductor industries (mandatory).\n15+ years of experience combining software product development and program management within the semiconductor/wireless domain.\nExperience managing software products across the full development lifecycle, from concept and planning through development, integration, production, and customer delivery.\nProven experience in end-to-end product integration across hardware and software stacks.\nTechnical Skills & Expertise\nGood understanding of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi technologies and their integration within embedded products.\nFamiliarity with embedded software architectures, RTOS environments, software development processes, and system integration.\nExperience working with open-source development models and ecosystems is desirable.\nExperience with software build, integration, validation, release management, and quality/readiness processes.\nFamiliarity with automation and CI/CD concepts for software build, test, integration, and release workflows is an added advantage.\nExperience with Audio technologies is strongly preferred. Candidates with experience in audio drivers, DSP frameworks, embedded audio stacks, audio codecs, multimedia frameworks, or audio system integration programs will have an added advantage.\nExperience working on earbuds, hearables, headphones, personal audio, Bluetooth audio, or similar embedded consumer products is an added advantage.\nAbility to work effectively with engineering teams to understand technical issues and assess program impact, dependencies, risks, priorities, and resolution plans.\nEducational Requirements\nRequired\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics/Electronics & Communication Engineering.\nPreferred\nMaster’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics/Electronics & Communication Engineering,\n Minimum Qualifications:\n• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.4+ years of Program Management or related work experience.\n*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.\nApplicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
