Key areas include LLM-based engineering tools, intelligent debugging and issue diagnosis, log analysis, test automation, workflow automation, and engineering productivity.\nCandidates should have strong software and system fundamentals and be able to independently explore new AI technologies, build prototypes, integrate AI capabilities into engineering workflows, and deliver practical solutions for complex networking products.\nRequired Qualifications\n3+ years of software, systems, networking, or AI engineering experience.\nStrong hands-on experience with GenAI/LLMs and AI/ML technologies.\nAbility to develop AI-powered engineering tools, automation, and prototypes.\nStrong Python skills; C/C++ or Go experience is a plus.\nStrong Linux/OpenWrt development and debugging experience.\nSolid knowledge of Ethernet, IP, TCP/UDP, VLAN, QoS, and multicast.\nBasic knowledge of IP networking and TCP/UDP protocols; familiarity with Wi-Fi technologies (IEEE 802.11) is preferred.\nAbility to independently evaluate emerging AI technologies and translate them into practical engineering solutions.\nStrong problem-solving, debugging, and cross-functional collaboration skills.\nMinimum Qualifications:\n• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.OR\nMaster's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.\nOR\nPhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.\n• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.\nApplicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
