At Qualcomm, we are engineering human progress.\nPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities\nLeverages deep security knowledge and experience to achieve highly critical engineering business objectives.\n\nDevelops new hardware and software security features and updates existing products; ensures the security of all products is maintained throughout the product lifecycle.\n\nServes as a technical expert performing advanced security assessments and evaluations of company products, including vulnerability and risk assessments and threat analysis, to identify potential design and implementation vulnerabilities.\n\nDevelops highly critical security architectures and solutions for products and subsystems and leads cross-organizational teams to adopt and implement them.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Security Engineering or related work experience.OR\nMaster's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of Security Engineering or related work experience.\nOR\nPhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Security Engineering or related work experience.\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.\n\n7+ years of Security Engineering experience or related work experience.\n\n5+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, System Verilog, etc.\n\nLevel of Responsibility:\nMakes significant decisions that affect work beyond the immediate team.\n\nRequires verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information; may require negotiation, influence, tact, etc.\n\nInfluences product architecture and features.\n\nPerforms tasks that often require multiple steps that can be completed in various orders; extensive planning, problem-solving, and prioritization are required to complete tasks effectively.\n\nQualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
