Business Capability-Driven PLM Solution Architecture\nLead solution architecture by translating business capabilities into Teamcenter functional designs, including:\nProduct definition and configuration\n\nChange and release governance\n\nLifecycle and revision management\n\nManufacturing readiness and handoff\n\nPartner with business stakeholders to ensure PLM solutions reflect how the semiconductor business operates, not generic PLM implementations\n\nEnsure solution designs balance flexibility, governance, scalability, and long-term sustainability\n\n2. Semiconductor Product Lifecycle Enablement\nArchitect PLM solutions that support semiconductor-specific realities, including:\nSilicon and derivative product hierarchies\n\nLong product lifecycles with high change velocity\n\nComplex product structures across silicon, package, test, and system views\n\nSustaining engineering, errata, and lifecycle traceability\n\nEnsure Teamcenter remains the authoritative system for product structure and change governance.\n4. Change, Configuration & Governance Architecture\nDefine solution patterns for multiple change processes aligned to lifecycle states\n\nArchitect governance for:\nPre-release vs post-release changes\n\nHigh-impact and high-risk semiconductor changes\n\nEnsure workflows and data models support auditability, traceability, and downstream impact analysis\n\n5. Digital Thread Roadmap & System-of-Systems Design\nDefine and evolve a business-driven digital thread roadmap spanning:\nProduct definition\n\nManufacturing readiness\n\nQuality and lifecycle feedback\n\nIdentify and document future-state architectural opportunities to improve traceability and system alignment\n\nEvaluate potential future PLM touchpoints with:\nDesign-side systems (e.g., ECAD, MCAD, design metadata)\n\nManufacturing and test systems\n\nQuality, reliability, and analytics platforms\n\nThis role focuses on architectural readiness and roadmap definition, without assuming current-state integrations.\n6. ECAD / MCAD & Cross-Discipline Alignment\nEnsure PLM solution designs support effective coexistence with:\nECAD systems\n\nMCAD systems\n\nOther engineering authoring tools\n\nArchitect data models, governance, and metadata strategies that enable:\nCross-discipline alignment\n\nConfiguration consistency\n\nSystem-of-systems scalability without tool lock-in\n\n7. Closed-Loop Quality Enablement\nArchitect PLM solutions that support closed-loop quality capabilities, including:\nLinking quality events to product structures and changes\n\nTraceability for failures and corrective actions\n\nEnsure PLM designs support root cause analysis and lifecycle learning, even when execution occurs in downstream systems\n\n8.
