In this role, you will collaborate with software, firmware, and hardware engineers to develop tools that accelerate firmware development, chip characterization, test execution, software development kit (SDK) delivery, and graphical user interface (GUI) development. You will work closely with teams across Firmware, Design Verification, Systems, Silicon Validation, Product Engineering, and DevOps.\nWhat you’ll be doing:\nFull stack development using JavaScript (React, Node, NextJS), Python, C, and C++, MongoDB and Postgres \nBuilding CI/CD systems (Gitlab/Github/Jenkins and custom) \nBuilding GUIs to support our silicon for internal teams \nBuilding CLIs to automate tasks and streamline processes and internal workflows \nDefining schemas and data organization to centralize how we collect and view data across different semiconductor technologies, product lines and hardware tests \nArchitecting our software development kit and regression infrastructure to support all our product lines, chips, and semiconductor IPs \nDeveloping test strategies, automated regression and QA tools, performance visualization of our silicon \nCollecting and analyzing data on our software infrastructure to help define KPIs for improvement \nWorking closely with team members to troubleshoot and triage issues related with new SW updates \ncoverage \nCollaborate closely with other teams to collect requirements and build new tooling where necessary \nTrack execution with standard software ticketing systems like Linear, Jira, Confluence and Git/Github/Gitlab \nWhat You'll Need:\nStudent of B.Sc. or equivalent experience in Computer Science / Software Engineering / Computer Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Communication Engineering with 2+ years of professional experience in software development with JavaScript, React, Redux, Python, and C/C++.\nKnowledge in Linux, software deployment, CICD and testing strategies \nKnowledge in basic networking \nCreative, motivated and value driven person \nIt’d be great if you had:\nExperience with multi-platform systems, both in HW/FW/SW \nKnowledge of Verilog/SystemVerilog \nKnowledge of communication protocols like Ethernet and PCIe \nExperience building open source projects \nApplicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
