Qualcomm Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to address questions, issues, debugging, or troubleshooting regarding software systems and applications.\nIn this role, you will provid customer solutions including customer troubleshooting, documentation, and 3rd party testing.\nRoles/Responsibilities:\nPre and post sales calls with customers\nCustomer troubleshooting\nOrchestrate documentation efforts across development, QA and marketing\nCoordinate customer trials\nParticipate in requirements generation as the voice of the customer\nGenerate data analysis dashboards as required\nMinimum Qualifications:\n• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.OR\nMaster's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.\nOR\nPhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.\n1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.\n• 1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with debugging techniques.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAbility to work with customers, ability to coordinate activities across multiple organizations, knowledge of location technology preferred, ability to work with data analysis tools\nMaster's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. \n3+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience. \n1+ year of work experience in a role requiring interaction with leadership.\nExperience in a customer-facing role. \nPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities:\nLeverages Software Application knowledge to provide technical expertise of software systems through technical presentations in support of business development, customer training, product demonstrations, commercialization, customization, and maintenance of Qualcomm products.\nCollaborates with teams and customer personnel to identify customer problems, debug issues in customer design software systems, and recommend solutions.\nDrives system architecture and feature-specific customizations tailored for customer requirements from proof of concept to final product commercial launches.\nAssesses potential application of company products, prepares product specifications, disseminates technical information on specific software areas, and/or troubleshoots issues regarding software tools and products.\nWrites detailed product technical documentation, application notes, and FAQs.\nLevel of Responsibility:\nWorks under supervision.\nDecision-making may affect work beyond immediate work group.\nRequires verbal and written communication skills to convey information.
