In addition to operational support, this engineer may contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, tooling enhancements, and backlog stories as business needs permit.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of IT, systems engineering, DevOps, SRE, or related work experience; orMaster’sdegree in a related field and 2+ years of relevant work experience; or equivalent practical experience.\n\n3+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications, platforms, or infrastructure in a production environment.\n\n2+ years of experience with Linux/Unix system administration, troubleshooting, and operational support.\n\n2+ years of experience with scripting or automation using tools such as Python, Shell, or similar.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting enterpriseGit-based source code management platforms such asGitHub, GitLab, and/or Gerrit.\n\nExperience inproduction operations, incident response, on-call support, service restoration, and problem management.\n\nFamiliarity withSRE and DevOps practices, including monitoring, alerting, observability, operational excellence, and automation.\n\nExperience with monitoring and log analysis tools such asSplunk, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar platforms.\n\nExperience with CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and system integration tools such asJenkins,Github/Gitlab Runners, Chef, Terraform, Kubernetes, or related technologies.\n\nKnowledge of authentication, authorization, access management, and repository administration concepts.\n\nStrong troubleshooting and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across global teams and time zones.\n\nAbility to balance operational execution with long-term platform reliability and continuous improvement.\n\nPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities\nSupport day-to-day operations of enterprise Git platforms, includingGerrit, GitHub, and GitLab.\n\nTriage andresolveoperational tickets, service requests, user issues, and platform support cases within defined service expectations.\n\nInvestigate and respond toproduction incidents, alerts, and platform issues; drivetimelyrestoration and communicate status to stakeholders.\n\nMonitor system health, logs, metrics, and alerts to proactivelyidentifyand address reliability, availability, and performance risks.\n\nExecute operational procedures related to platform maintenance, change support, upgrades, validations, and service readiness activities.\n\nSupport access-related tasks, repository support, and general user enablement across supported Git platforms.\n\nContribute to root cause analysis, recurringissueelimination, and service improvement efforts.\n\nDevelop andmaintainrunbooks, operational documentation, standard procedures, and support knowledge.\n\nCollaborate closely with US-based engineers and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure smooth handoff, issue follow-up, and aligned support coverage.\n\nContribute to automation, tooling, and engineering backlog stories when operational bandwidth permits.\n\nLevel of Responsibility\nWorks independently with moderate supervision.\n\nExercisesjudgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.\n\nInterfaces with internal users, engineering teams, infrastructure teams, and partner organizations to support business-critical development platforms.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n• 3+ years of IT-related work experience with a Bachelor's degree.OR\n5+ years of IT-related work experience without a Bachelor’s degree.\nApplicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
