enterprise architects, and global IT leadership.\nKey Responsibilities\nTechnical Leadership & Platform Ownership\nOwn end-to-end SAP Basis and Authorization Security operations across SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, ABAP, and Java stacks.\n\nProvide technical leadership for SAP ECC EHP on Oracle Database and SAP S/4HANA On-Premiseenvironments.\n\nDefine, maintain, and enforce SAP technical standards, operational procedures, security policies, and governance frameworks.\n\nLead SAP upgrades, system conversions, migrations, refreshes, installations, and landscape transformation initiatives.\n\nArchitect and guide global SAP landscapes across on-premise, hybrid, and cloud platforms.\n\nEnsure high availability, performance, scalability, business continuity, and disaster recovery readiness of SAP systems.\n\nDrive technical innovation, automation, and continuous service improvement across SAP operations.\n\nManage distributed SAP architectures including SAP ECC, SAP and Security services.\n\nEnsure effective utilization of SAP Cloud ALM for monitoring, operations, lifecycle management, and service transparency.\n\nTeam Leadership & People Management\nProvide disciplinary leadership for the OneIT India SAP Basis and SAP Authorization Security teams.\n\nLead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of approximately 10 SAP professionals across Basis and Authorization Security domains.\n\nConduct performance reviews, goal setting, talent development, succession planning, and recruitment activities.\n\nFoster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.\n\nAct as the primary escalation point for critical technical and operational issues.\n\nPlan and manage team capacity, workload balancing, and delivery commitments.\n\nDrive effective collaboration across global SAP teams and stakeholder groups.\n\nResource Planning & Strategic Alignment\nWork in close partnership with the India IT leadership and the central SAP Basis & Authorization Manager in Munich to align resource planning, budget requirements, team development, operational priorities, and strategic SAP initiatives across the global SAP landscape.\n\nSupport workforce planning, hiring strategies, skills development, and organizational growth initiatives.\n\nContribute to budget planning and resource forecasting while ensuring alignment with global SAP priorities and business objectives.\n\nBalance operational stability, project delivery requirements, and strategic transformation initiatives.\n\nStakeholder & Business Engagement\nAct as a trusted SAP technical advisor to senior business and IT stakeholders.\n\nTranslate business requirements into secure, scalable, and supportable SAP solutions.\n\nCollaborate effectively with enterprise architects, project teams, service providers, and leadership teams.\n\nCommunicate complex technical topics clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.\n\nBuild strong working relationships across global teams, particularly between India and European stakeholders.\n\nMinimum Qualifications (Must Have)\n15+ years of SAP Basis experience with increasing leadership responsibility.\n\nMinimum 5 years of people management experience including disciplinary leadership.\n\nExtensive hands-on experience operating SAP ECC EHP environments on Oracle Database.\n\nDeep expertise in SAP S/4HANA On-Premiseadministration, operations, and migration projects.\n\nStrong hands-on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP).\n\nStrong hands-on experience with SAP Integration Suite / SAP CPI.\n\nExperience implementing and operating SAP Cloud ALM.\n\nProven experience leading large-scale global SAP technical projects and transformations.\n\nStrong experience in SAP Authorization Security, role design, compliance, and access governance.\n\nDemonstrated Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) knowledge in SAP environments.\n\nStrong understanding of SAP technical infrastructure, including ABAP and Java stacks.\n\nExperience with:\n\nSAP monitoring and automation tools\n\nITSM and ticketing platforms\n\nCapacity and demand management processes\n\nChange and release management\n\nExperience managing geographically distributed teams and stakeholders.\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.\n\nFluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.\n\nPreferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)\nExperience operating SAP environments hosted on AWS.\n\nExperience with RISE with SAP and SAP Private Cloud environments.\n\nStrong knowledge of hybrid SAP cloud architectures and cloud operating models.\n\nExperience with SAP HANA administration, replication, and high-availability concepts.\n\nExperience with SAP Focused Run, Solution Manager, or similar monitoring platforms.\n\nExperience with Embedded Analytics, Fiori, and BW on
