You will be responsible for creating, testing, and maintaining C/C++/SystemCmodels of hardware and software components, as well as integrating them into larger system models. You will also collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and quality of the models and their alignment with the specifications and requirements. You will also mentor and guide junior engineers and contribute to the improvement of the modelling and simulation processes and tools.\nWhat you’ll be doing:\nCreate models of our connectivity IPs (Memory, Ethernet, PCIe, UCIe)using SystemC/C++ and C libraries\n\nPerformance analysis, prediction and architectural explorationfor the IP Subsystem including controller and PHY\n\nTest and debug the models using SystemCsimulation tools and frameworks\n\nIntegrate models into emulation and verification environments to enable early software developmentas well perform functional simulations.\n\nIntegrate the models into virtual platformsand verify their functionality and performance\n\nMaintain and update the models according to the changes in the design and requirements\n\nDocument the models and their interfaces and provide support for their usage and integration\n\nCollaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure the consistency and quality of the models and their alignment with the specifications and requirements\n\nContribute to the improvement of the modelling and simulation processes and tools and propose new solutions and best practices\n\nWhat we need to see:\nBachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science,Computer Engineering,Electrical Engineering, or related field\n\nThorough understanding of memory and or connectivity protocols such as PCIe/Ethernet/UCIe\n\n12-15yearsof experience in SystemC/C++/Cmodelling and Performance Analysis\n\nSystemCsimulation tools and frameworks, such as TLM2.0, and SCV etc\n\nKnowledge of hardware and software design and verification methodologies and standards\n\nExperience in modelling and simulating complex systems, such as embedded systems, SoCs, or ASICs\n\nExcellent communication and teamwork skills\n\nStrong leadership and mentoring skills\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.OR\nMaster's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.\nOR\nPhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.\nApplicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
