This includes the test executive, the test framework, and the interfaces between test software and automated handlers and bench stations, used from engineering development through high-volume manufacturing.\nWe are looking for a Senior SLT Automation Engineer who can design and maintain production-grade test software, integrate new handlers and test platforms, and help global engineering and manufacturing partners deploy automated test solutions quickly and reliably.\nPreferred Qualifications\n5+ years of software development experience in test automation, manufacturing test, or embedded systems.\nStrong programming skills in C# / .NET, with hands-on experience in Python; Java is a plus.\nSolid software design fundamentals: object-oriented design, event-driven and multi-threaded programming, inter-process communication, and API/interface design.\nExperience with test sequencers or test executives, and writing scalable, multi-site test content for SoCs.\nHands-on experience with SLT or ATE test systems and automated handler integration (e.g., Chroma, Teradyne, Advantest).\nFamiliarity with Android / Linux / Windows, board bring-up, and flashing (UFS / SD / SPI NOR).\nExperience with source control (Perforce, Git) and software release/version management.\nStrong troubleshooting skills with complex system issues (e.g., parsing logs, isolating failures across software, hardware, and handler interfaces.\nClear technical communication in English and the ability to work with global teams and external equipment/manufacturing partners.\nPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities\nDevelop and maintain SLT automation software, including test executive components, shared test frameworks, and reusable test libraries.\nIntegrate new handlers, testers, and bench stations with SLT software, and define communication interfaces and APIs together with equipment vendors.\nBuild universal integration interfaces so that manufacturing partners can connect their own automation infrastructure to SLT software remotely, with less bring-up effort.\nEnable new test content (e.g., RF, stress, and functional tests) on automated multi-site handler flows, including checking dependencies, compatibility, and retrofit options.\nProvide escalation support for automation issues from project teams and manufacturing sites, drive root cause analysis, and release fixes.\nDevelop tools for log collection, data processing, and reporting to improve engineering efficiency.\nMaintain technical documentation, release notes, and debug guidelines for test engineers and partners.\nLevel of Responsibility\nWorks independently with minimal supervision.\nDecision-making may affect work beyond immediate work group.\nRequires verbal and written communication skills to convey information.
