The role involves developing validation strategies, designing test methodologies, building automation frameworks, and analyzing performance, and quality KPIs across audio, camera, sensor, AI, and connectivity features running on low-power subsystems. The candidate will work with software, AI, hardware, and system teams to ensure robust, scalable, and power-efficient always-on experiences.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and execute validation plans for low-power subsystems. \nDefine test strategies covering audio, sensor, display, connectivity and AI inference pipelines. \nCreate comprehensive test matrices covering functional, performance, stress, and stability scenarios. \nBuild and maintain automated test frameworks for LPAI feature validation. \nIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD and continuous validation pipelines. \nDevelop dashboards and automated reporting solutions. \nAnalyze logs, traces, telemetry, and sensor data and debug failures. \nCollaborate with development teams to root cause issues and drive resolutions. \nPartner with software, hardware, AI/ML, and system teams. \nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field. \n2-5 years of experience in system testing, validation, or automation. \nStrong Python programming skills. \nExperience with test automation frameworks. \nKnowledge of Linux and Android environments. \nUnderstanding of software testing methodologies and defect lifecycle management. \nExperience working with logs, traces, and debugging tools. \nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. \nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience validating embedded, DSP, XR, mobile, or AI systems. \nKnowledge of sensor technologies such as IMU, Camera, and GNSS \nExperience with AI/ML validation and model benchmarking. \nFamiliarity with Qualcomm DSP, Hexagon, LPAI, or low-power subsystems. \nKnowledge of power measurement tools and methodologies. \nExperience with test infrastructure, robotics, motion rigs, or automated lab setups. \nExposure to KPI generation, dashboarding, and large-scale dataset analysis. \nMinimum Qualifications:\n• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.OR\nMaster's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.\nOR\nPhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.\nApplicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
