leadership skills, experience in heavy equipment or field operations, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment\nKey Responsibilities\nOversee and assist field supervisors with daily operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.\n\nCoordinate workforce assignments, monitor project progress, and maintain service quality.\n\nProvide hands-on leadership, coaching, and problem-solving support to field teams.\n\nConduct job site visits to evaluate safety, work quality, equipment readiness, and operational performance.\n\nRespond to emergency service calls and assist with field operations when needed.\n\nMaintain professional relationships with customers, business partners, and regulatory agencies through effective communication and coordination.\n\nTrain, mentor, and develop employees while assisting with recruitment, performance reviews, and team development.\n\nAssist with workforce planning, budgeting, and operational forecasting.\n\nReview and maintain accurate records of payroll, labor hours, equipment usage, and project activities.\n\nMonitor equipment conditions and coordinate necessary maintenance or replacements.\n\nSupport business development through customer outreach, relationship management, and industry events.\n\nSkills and Qualifications\nPrevious experience in railroad, heavy equipment, industrial services, or related field operations preferred.\n\nStrong understanding of DOT and FRA regulations.\n\nPrevious experience leading and managing field-based teams.\n\nCDL Class A or B preferred.\n\nExperience operating heavy equipment such as cranes, trucks, and excavators.\n\nAbility to interpret crane load charts and understand rigging requirements.\n\nStrong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn operational software systems.\n\nValid driver's license with a clean driving record.\n\nAbility to successfully complete required safety training and certification programs.\n\nPhysical Requirements and Work Conditions\nFrequent overnight travel is required.\n\nMust be available for on-call assignments and able to report within one hour when needed.\n\nAbility to work outdoors in all weather conditions and physically demanding environments.\n\nMust be available for extended hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.\n\nActive, hands-on position requiring frequent walking, working in industrial field environments, and
